I love that, in some cases, a long exposure photograph can end up looking like a painting. I wanted to create an image of the New York City skyline that reflected my own personal vision. Here I used a long exposure at night to create an abstract view of NYC's famous landscape. At a distance it looks very abstract but, upon closer inspection, architecture (such as the Chrysler Building) becomes recognizable.
